NEW!! We now offer Face Painting as an additional option with your pony ride and petting zoo parties. To add a face painter to your options, please add $60.00 per hour. At this time we are able to paint 10 - 12 face per hour. If we receive a one-hour party booking with more than 12 children expected, additional time will be added automatically at the customer's expense. Please do not ask us to disappoint any children due to lack of time. If you wish to book ONLY a face painter, please visit AmaDazzle Faces for more information. Corporate customers may choose our "Quick Art" option, which allows up to 20 faces per hour. Available designs are limited to a few of our choice.

PONY RIDES: The number of pony rides possible averages 30 rides per pony per hour. Cart rides average 60 rides per hour with 2 passengers per circuit. It is best to set up the pony rides in a grassy area, preferably with some shade available. This is for the safety and comfort of the ponies, the people leading them, AND the children riding.

PETTING ZOO: The petting zoo can be customized for your event. It can be set up in any size, from a small corner of your yard, to a more spacious area for larger events, even indoors! Some animals that may be available are: Pygmy goats, Flemish Giant rabbit, Dwarf rabbits, Lionhead rabbits, various bantam chickens. Other animals may be added as they join our family. Total number of animals in the zoo can vary from 12 - 15. When deciding where to set up your zoo, please try to find an area with some shade, and preferably in the grass. During the summer months, we cannot set up the zoo on a paved area because it can be very uncomfortable and even dangerous for the animals. Pricing is equivalent to 2 ponies (Example: Petting zoo for 1 hour = $185.00).

WEATHER POLICY: If there is a concern about the weather, we will attempt to contact the customer sometime within 24 to 48 hours prior to the scheduled event to discuss options. In the event of inclement weather on the day of an event, private party customers may opt for our "Indoor Package". This includes face painting and a selection of small zoo animals (chickens, rabbits and possibly a pygmy goat) in a petite pen (10-foot perimeter) set up either in a garage or indoors on a tarp. Pricing is equivalent to the outdoor zoo, or 2 ponies as in the chart above. The "Indoor Package" is an option regardless of weather conditions.

PAYMENT POLICY: We accept personal or business checks, cash and/or money orders on or before the day of service. We also accept PayPal payments at any time prior to the day of the event remitted to "apony@aponyforyourthoughts.com". We request that cash or check payments be taken care of upon our arrival and during setup. This will insure that we will not need to disturb you during your party, and will also allow us to depart quickly if we have another event booked after yours.
